| Extremely smart and polished skill set. Excels as both a pass and run blocker. Anchor on the line of scrimmage and reads stunts like he’s seen it before. Great length and build that doesn’t allow defenders to break free. | Footwork is a little late, especially moving side to side. Lack of straight-line speed when going downhill shows up when trying to get to the second level. |
OVERVIEW: One of the most dominating offensive linemen in college football also comes with an origin story that belongs in Hollywood. He grew up in a household that did not see the value of athletics and was extremely strict on academics. Then in his sophomore year of high school, his parents realized he was missing dinner and found him on a football field for the first time. He was immediately a fixture in the recruiting scene and landed with Penn State. There, he started 32 games for one of the best rushing attacks in football and allowed just three sacks over 1,165 career snaps.
