| Versatile, well-rounded defender who is mature in his coverage abilities in both man and zone. He consistently attacks the football to try to force turnovers. Can line up inside or outside and bring the heat as a blitzer. | Terrell’s smaller size makes him a target when facing bigger receivers. He struggles at times to react on in-breaking routes and ends up playing catch up. Willing tackler, but at times can get overpowered. |
OVERVIEW: It's easy to see why playing cornerback runs strong in the Terrell family bloodline. The younger brother of Falcons corner A.J. Terrell, Avieon is a savvy defensive back who plays like a veteran despite only suiting up for three seasons in college. He covers well and is a fluid mover in man and zone with the long speed to hang with receivers down the field. He's a willing tackler despite a smaller frame, but that smaller frame can become a target for opposing offenses that have bigger, stronger receivers or running backs out of the backfield.
