PRO CON
A modern-day nickel corner, Scott can handle multiple responsibilities. He plays like a linebacker in run support and blitz opportunities, and is fearless in attacking the ball carrier, flying to the football. Outside of a short area, Scott struggles as a cover player when routes grow longer. He will also be 25 years old when the 2026 season starts. Good tackler, but over pursuit causes him to miss some here and there.

OVERVIEW: Scott checks a lot of boxes that teams are locking for in their nickel/slot corners. When playing the run or blitzing the quarterback, he goes full speed ahead and doesn't hold back when making contact. He was a game changer for Miami's defense after he returned from a right foot injury, helping lead the Hurricanes to the national championship game by coming up with big plays in the biggest moments. His age and limited coverage ability will be things that teams have to be comfortable with.
