| Brings a long list of pass-rush moves. Quick get-off that rivals some of the best in the class. Played both inside and outside during his time in college and could do the same in the NFL. Production is off the charts. | Shorter than preferred arm length and multiple surgeries during his time in college hinder his profile. Will get washed out of gaps and fails to anchor the way someone of his size should. Seen on the ground a lot. |
OVERVIEW: Mesidor began his college career as a standout edge rusher at West Virginia, earning Freshman All-American and All-Big 12 honors. This opened the door for a transfer to Miami, where he joined forces with one of the best front sevens in college football. After battling injuries during the 2023 season, he regained his starting spot in 2024 and broke out in a big way this last year with 12.5 sacks (third in FBS) and 17.5 tackles for loss. While being compared to fellow edge rusher Rueben Bain, he still managed to leave his own legacy.
