PRO CON
Active around the ball and appears there in a flash. Never just satisfied with a tackle, he wants the football. Notable football IQ with the ability to read the backfield with consistency. High motor and pursuit ability. Really struggled with offensive linemen at the second level. Fell behind reach blocks and couldn’t combat their momentum. Not the quickest twitch off the line compared to other top edge rushers.

OVERVIEW: It took Parker just two seasons to cement himself as a leader on the Clemson defense. He was a Freshman All-American in 2023 after setting the freshman school record in tackles for loss (12.5). He backed that up with a school-record six forced fumbles and 11 sacks over 14 games for the College Football Playoff bound Tigers in 2024. However, he failed to build on that season during his final year, posting only five sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss over 12 games. It was a slight letdown, which could concern scouts about a possible plateau.

COMPARISON: Za'Darius Smith
