Size and motor are a defensive coordinator’s dream. Good acceleration off the line is a plus to add with his powerful body. Has shown the ability to take over a game on tape, mostly during the 2024 season. Banks rushes with very high pad level and doesn’t gain good leverage. He relies on his length and strength to get him out of trouble, not necessarily technique. Arm tackles show up in missed chances. Has also dealt with injuries, including foot surgery in 2025.

OVERVIEW: After an impressive 2024 season solidly put Banks on the NFL's radar, foot surgery forced one of the biggest (literally and figuratively) pieces of the Gators defense to watch from the sideline for all but three games in 2025. However, it's worth noting that Banks played the majority of his snaps in November after coming back from the injury. His reasoning was to "be out there with my brothers" instead of focusing on the next level. The 2024 film was impressive enough.
