PRO CON
Quick get off and acceleration off the line. Was very effective in two-gap situations and could move laterally to defend the run. Has a few pass-rush moves that would win. Great effort and motor on film, never quits. Doesn’t show consistent anchor ability despite his size profile. Gets off balance often and fails to recover easily, ending up on the ground a bunch. Could be quicker with countermoves using his hands at the point of attack.

OVERVIEW: While he was awarded very few accolades throughout his college career, Ball was a formidable part of the Arkansas defense, and his film stood out in 2025. With 50 games of experience, he finished with 12.5 career tackles for loss and three sacks while starting the final 30 outings of his tenure. If his football background isn't enough to get him drafted, maybe the fact he runs his own barbecue business will. He learned from his dad, who was a caterer, and opened Ball's Barbecue to cook for teammates and other students at Arkansas.
