2026 NFL Draft Prospect

PRO CON
Hill has incredible athletic ability that allows him to cover the entire field. Is better downhill than most linebackers in the class and doesn’t just settle for tackles; he wants the ball too. Plays with notable pass rush ability. Coverage skills need some polish, especially when playing man to man. Hill’s pad level gets high at the point of attack, meaning he can get pushed backwards.

OVERVIEW: A native of Denton, Texas, Hill did a little bit of everything on defense for the Ryan Raiders, and he continued his success at Texas as a 5-star prospect. Notching 66 tackles with eight for loss and five sacks over 14 games as a true freshman, Hill quickly became a star in Austin. He then led the SEC in TFLs (16.0) and helped lead the Longhorns to the College Football Playoff in 2024. However, his 2025 season came to a close with a fractured bone in his hand against Georgia late in the year. His athleticism and production in the SEC will translate immediately, especially for teams looking to add speed.
