Harold Perkins Jr.
2026 NFL Draft Prospect
  • Height: 6-1
  • Weight: 223
  • School: LSU
  • Class: R-Junior
PRO CON
Extremely versatile as a finesse linebacker in coverage who has a pass-rush plan. Knows how to read a front and has the ability to get off blocks. Finishes well as a tackler, punishes ball carriers and has special teams potential. Size is a significant question mark at just 6-1, 223. Other than that, it appeared an ACL injury in 2024 may have slowed his development despite remaining productive. Not a reliable open-field tackler.

OVERVIEW: Perkins excelled in the hybrid linebacker and defensive back role called the "star" position in LSU's defense, tying for the team lead with three interceptions and eight tackles for loss over 12 games. He was an All-SEC honoree in three of his final four seasons and was even a Freshman All-American in 2022. Perkins overcame adversity as his family relocated to Houston after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. An extremely gifted athlete and a fluid mover, he'll have some NFL-ready traits that will make him a fun chess piece at the second level.
