| An absolute unit at the second level, Styles is one of the best coverage linebackers in the draft, but does it at the size of an edge rusher at 6-foot-5, 244 pounds. His read and react ability is elite, and he has good tackling form and physicality. An extremely smart player. | Styles has a tendency to oversell on certain reads, which puts him out of position. Also loses leverage when playing downhill and was reached at the second level a few times against the run. |
OVERVIEW: Another extremely talented linebacker who stood out among a loaded Buckeyes defense. Styles did things differently than his counterpart Arvell Reese as he was directly an off-ball option. Styles originally stood out during Ohio State's 2024 national championship season, tallying 100 tackles and six sacks while leading one of the best defensive units in football. The Ohio native then backed that up with 83 tackles in 14 games last year while remaining a crucial leader and playmaker.
