| The best anchoring ability in the draft class. Stonewalls defenders with violent hands and a stout lower half. His footwork is clean and moves with fluidity despite his larger frame. Good recovery skills and technique. | Tends to get his hands outside and is slow to move side to side against the more electrifying edge rushers. His bigger frame sees his pad level sneak up higher at times. |
OVERVIEW: From the moment Mauigoa stepped on campus, the pressure was on. Widely regarded as a top-10 national prospect and a 5-star recruit, he wasted no time proving himself, starting all 13 games in 2023 and allowing five sacks in 454 pass blocking snaps. He would surrender only three more sacks over the rest of his college career, with just eight given up in 1,521 career pass blocking snaps. He was named a Freshman All-American in 2023, second-team All-ACC in 2024 and in 2025 was first-team All-America and awarded the ACC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy, given to the conference's top offensive lineman.
