| Has all the physical tools to be a great quarterback. The size, arm talent, mobility and toughness all stand out. Showcases a quick release and ability to step into deep throws. Smart decision-maker who knows how to take care of the ball. Was especially so early in his career. | Tends to throw with one speed … FAST. Doesn’t show much versatility in his touch on short-to-intermediate passes. Footwork can be a mess at times, particularly when under pressure. Had a huge decline in 2025. |
OVERVIEW: Allar was once considered a first-round lock after incredible 2023 and 2024 seasons but will likely be knocked because of significant production drop-off in 2025. Even before suffering a season-ending ankle injury against Northwestern, he struggled in back-to-back losses to Oregon and UCLA. With over a year separating his good tape against legitimate competition, he'll be a tough scouting assignment. All the tools are still there, but did he plateau in his early years at Penn State?
