PRO CON
Mendoza checks all the physical boxes at quarterback. Frame, arm talent, accuracy and toughness are all prototypical or polished. Between the ears, he’s also a leader with incredible on-field decision making. Only real knock on his game is how he was used in heavy RPO systems throughout his college tenure. Mendoza has less than perfect footwork at times under pressure. His pocket presence could see improvement as well, but that should come with time.

OVERVIEW: One of the greatest all-time stories in college football who completed one of the greatest all-time runs in college football, Mendoza was the heartbeat of a perfect 16-0 season for the national champion Indiana Hoosiers. Once just a 3-star and under-recruited quarterback, he's now a Heisman Trophy winner and soon-to-be hope for an NFL franchise. His football IQ, pre-snap recognition, arm talent and pinpoint accuracy are more than pro-ready.
