PRO CON
One of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the draft. Possesses high-end speed and elusiveness for the position, paired with a strong arm and ability to throw on the run. Natural leader and one of the toughest in the class. As a running quarterback, there’s concern on how he can remain durable with a 212-pound build. Tends to panic under pressure. Footwork and an old-fashioned, over-the-top release may turn some teams away.

OVERVIEW: There is a lot to be said for quarterbacks who can take programs that have traditionally struggled and lead them to new heights. After three seasons at Texas A&M, King transferred to Georgia Tech and guided the Yellow Jackets to three straight bowl games, their first since 2018. He also helped pull off ranked wins against Clemson, Miami (twice), Florida State and North Carolina during his time there. Teams will get a well-versed quarterback with plenty of leadership, but he may need time to adjust to the NFL's caliber of play as a backup first.
