PRO CON
Incredible vision and patience behind the line of scrimmage. Runs behind his pads and knows how to read developing blocks. Works well laterally with more physicality as a runner than his size suggests. Able to carry a large workload over four seasons. Another smaller-sized tailback in the class. Listed at just 5-foot-10 and 199 pounds, he tries his best in pass protection but falls short because of physical limitations. Need to see more as a crisp route runner.

OVERVIEW: Taylor is a great example of how to make the most of facing better competition. Tabbed as one of the best tailbacks at the FCS level as a 1,000-yard rusher with North Carolina Central in 2024, he led the ACC with 1,062 rushing yards and tallied 14 touchdowns with the Cavaliers as well in 2025. He put 133 yards on eventual conference champion Duke and earned an invite to the Senior Bowl in the process. After making one jump in competition caliber, he'll aim to do that again.
