| Great build for the position and runs with a plan. Reads the game with impressive vision. Quick accelerator north and south when a gap opens up. Solid route-runner with good hands. Willing to run defenders over. | Anytime a prospect enters the NFL with double-digit fumbles, it’s a problem. Washington had 10. Doesn’t move well laterally and won’t make anyone miss with his agility. Has to be aware of where he’s holding the ball, as he doesn’t switch hands on long runs. |
OVERVIEW: Washington was a success story of the transfer portal. After three years at Buffalo and one at New Mexico State, he joined Arkansas and found a home in Fayetteville as a 1,000-yard rusher and a solid receiving option, posting 226 yards in the passing game. If it wasn't for his ball security concerns, he would have a case to be a no-doubt Day 2 selection. Despite that, he showcased a unique blend of power and vision, so teams will still love to add him to their backfield.
COMPARISON: Brian Robinson Jr.
