PRO CON
Showed an ability in college to play at both safety and nickel. Ramsey is able to diagnose and react well to short, quick game attacks and can maneuver in zone coverage responsibilities. Improved as a tackler. Ramsey has dealt with multiple injuries in his collegiate career. He lacks speed to be able to consistently cover the deep portion of the field and stiffer hips see him get beat by double-moves. Still needs work against the run.

OVERVIEW: Ramsey was asked to play in a different role at nickel for USC in 2025 and had an up-and-down season compared to when he played as a true safety in 2024. That success projects him to likely play better as a safety only at the NFL level. He doesn't possess elite speed but is strong in the short and quick passing game, especially coming downhill and anticipating. Ramsey has dealt with several injuries over the course of his collegiate career and only has two career college interceptions over four seasons split between UCLA and USC.
