| Can serve as a big nickel corner or line up at safety. A former walk-on who went on to become a captain, Stukes is very technically sound with great speed to cover all over the place. Excellent at breaking up passes. | He’ll be an older prospect at 24 years of age heading into his rookie season. Plays high at times and it can show up in tackles. Will bite early and get beat. A lighter player who lacks a bit of play strength in some instances. |
OVERVIEW: Stukes had an excellent week at the NFL Scouting Combine, running a 4.33 time in the 40-yard dash. And the speed shows up on tape as well, not just physically but mentally. A former walk-on who turned into a captain of Arizona's defense, he has excellent fundamentals and a knack for getting to the catch point and being a disruption for wide receivers. As proof, he finished with 26 pass breakups in five seasons to go with seven interceptions. However, his age and ability to help in the run game may raise questions for NFL teams.
