FRISCO, Texas – Wide receiver/punt returner Tavon Austin will not practice Wednesday after experiencing concussion-like symptoms following the Cowboys' season-opening victory over the Giants Sunday, head coach Jason Garrett said.

"We just have to be mindful of that and take care of that the right way," Garrett said.

Tyrone Crawford is also not expected to practice Wednesday, though it could be a management day for the veteran defensive lineman after recovering from hip surgery in the offseason.

Three starters who returned from training camp injuries last week – left tackle Tyron Smith, right guard Zack Martin and wide receiver Amari Cooper – were on the field during the open portion of practice.

Rookie linebacker Luke Gifford continues to be sidelined with an ankle injury.

The Cowboys play at Washington in Week 2 this Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon Central.
