A five year collegiate linebacker who utilized his extra year of eligibility, DeMarvion Overshown joins the Cowboys as a third round (90th overall) draft pick from the 2023 NFL Draft with a versatile skill set that allows defenses to maximize his athletic profile. Overshown played in 50 career games with 33 starts at Texas, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors in his final collegiate season. Over his five-year career, Overshown tallied 249 tackles, 30.5 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, 18 breakups, three fumble recoveries and three interceptions. He will be a valuable chess piece for Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn to deploy across the Dallas defense in 2023 and beyond.
