"We've got some major things starting tonight," said director Kelli Finglass as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp continues on for another week.
Before the final team is announced, three more DCC hopefuls will see their last night of training camp. Tonight's episode will give answers to the burning questions of last week and give you an inside look as the girls prepare to head to Canton, Ohio, for Jerry Jones' enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
A new point will be anointed. In the DCC world, being selected as the point of the iconic triangle formation is an honor bestowed only upon a few individuals. The torch will be passed on to a hardworking, well-rounded veteran. Who is the lucky lady? Hint, she wore the wrong outfit to her first training camp practice during her rookie season!
Once the formations have been set, the girls will be hard at work getting ready for Canton. With a few unforeseen road bumps, they're going to have to practice in the moonlight to perfect the routine before the trip of a lifetime.
In the midst of training camp and Hall of Fame preparations, the girls selected for Show Group still have additional responsibilities and appearances. Tonight the girls will have to pull together, make some quick and fast decisions and put on a world-class performance.
Back in the studio, the girls will strive to impress Finglass and choreographer Judy Trammell before the few cuts that are left. It's no longer just sink or swim. They should be gracefully gliding through the water by now. If they aren't, some tough roster decisions will have to be made.
Tune in tonight at 10/9c to CMT for this week's episode of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. Vets will be called into the office, you'll find out who will be this season's point and much more during Week 7 of training camp.
