Parcells didn't offer anything concrete on whether running back Julius Jones would make his first start since spraining his ankle against the Eagles on Oct. 9. This past Monday, Jones had eight carries for 16 yards and rookie Marion Barber got the start . . . Ex-Cowboy Joey Galloway, who was traded to Tampa Bay for Keyshawn Johnson, is one of the league leaders in receptions and receiving yards in 2005. Through nine games, Galloway has 862 yards on 51 catches, both ranking in the top 10 . . . In 1964, Parcells was drafted at tackle in the seventh round (89th overall) by the Lions, but he never played with the team. "(It was a) long time ago," Parcells said, trying to dismiss the discussion. "I wasn't good enough, OK? So don't worry about that." In the fall of 1964, Parcells took his first coaching job as the defensive line coach at Hastings College, saying he had a wife and baby, and the jobs just about paid the same . . . Former Cowboys offensive lineman Tyson Walter, released right before the season began, was signed Friday by Houston. Walter had spend three seasons with the Cowboys.
