For the past 37 years, Jerry Jones and his family have owned and operated the Dallas Cowboys with a management style that places a core emphasis on community leadership and impact. With the Cowboys organization having built immense and unprecedented success, the Jones Family feels a very strong responsibility to translate the visibility and strength of the world's most prominent sports franchise and platform in a way that addresses critical needs in our community. The talents, skills, resources and relationships of Cowboys players, coaches, cheerleaders, and the entire organization, are utilized in a unique and intentional approach to community outreach and support that makes a difference.
THE MISSION. In the area of community service, Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation's mission is built upon an overall philosophy of helping those who don't have the strength or the resources to help themselves, with a primary focus on our partnership with The Salvation Army as well as to honor our nation's service members and veterans through our support of the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation and its mission to inspire a future generation of character driven leaders.
In addition to The Salvation Army and Salute to Service in partnership with the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation is committed to using the visibility of the Star to make a difference through the pillars of: Youth Football Development, Youth Health and Wellness, Inspire Change, Hispanic Outreach and Women's Causes.
