I know it's only one preseason game, but we still seem to have a lot of questions regarding our red zone offense. We even had our first-team offensive line and starting quarterback in the game at one point and we still didn't get in the end zone. What are your thoughts on Kellen Moore's red zone scheme? - PAUL GRAY / ELCHO, WI

Bryan: One game. Don't knee-jerk here. I'll also remind you no Ezekiel Elliott or Zack Martin or Amari Cooper or Jason Witten. If that ball wasn't tipped at the line it's a likely touchdown to Blake Jarwin, who was open for the opportunity. If we get in the season and Moore has struggles with his play calling then I'll be happy to address that then.

Rob: The first-team offense got one chance inside the 20 and it's just not enough of a sample size for me -- especially with Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Zack Martin and Jason Witten not in the game. Sorry, I'm not going to make many, if any, declarations about Moore's offense until Week 1. He and the Cowboys have nothing to gain by showing their hand this early. Specifically regarding the red zone, they obviously want better than 0-for-4 overall down there. Had some missed opportunities to get in the end zone in the final seconds.

Looking at the second and third team against /what was 49ers' second and third team, do you feel comfortable with the overall depth of this team? - MARVIN TYSON / CLINTON, MD

Bryan: I don't feel as bad as you appear to. There are some guys that did a nice job is this game that you could count on if they had to play. Please check out my Scout's Eye from the game this morning. I wrote about several of those guys.

Rob: Yeah, I still think it's one of the more competitive rosters they've had in a while. I thought the second-team offensive line really helped Cooper Rush show what he can do. There were some mistakes to clean up on defense, and obviously the offense didn't finish drives. There were also a lot of players who will make this team and help this team who were either rested or did not make the trip due to injury. Remember, at the end of the month, 37 players on the current 90-man roster will not be on the 53.
