FRISCO, Texas – It's a banged up offensive line for the Cowboys at the outset of Week 11 – to put it mildly.

As they began practicing for this weekend's game against Detroit, the Cowboys were without three starters on the offensive line. La'el Collins, Zack Martin and Connor Williams were all absent as they cope with various injuries.

Collins and Martin are dealing with a back and elbow injury, respectively, and Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said he was unsure what their participation level would be. As had been previously reported, Williams underwent a knee scope on Tuesday and will be out for the time being.

"They're optimistic it went well, hopefully he'll be back in a couple weeks," Garrett said. "Don't want to put any firm timetable on it, but he's a young guy. Hopefully he heals up and gets ready to go."

Xavier Su'a-Filo stepped in for Williams at left guard. Joe Looney was playing right guard for Martin, while Brandon Knight played right tackle for Collins. Cam Fleming returned from his calf strain on Wednesday, although he wasn't needed in the starting lineup with Tyron Smith able to practice.

Amari Cooper was also absent from practice as he works through a variety of injuries that have bothered him this season.

"We'll see how he does over the course of the week," Garrett said.

On defense, Michael Bennett was also absent from the proceedings.
