!Buehler missed his only field goal attempt, wide right from 34 yards out

  • The Redskins have not scored an offensive touchdown against the Cowboys in their last three games. Washington lost 7-6 and 17-0 in the two games against the Cowboys last year. * After leading the NFL and setting a Cowboys single-season record in 2009 with 29 touchbacks, David Buehler did not record a touchback in three attempts Sunday night. However, Buehler was credited with both of the Cowboys' special teams tackles. * The Cowboys were flagged for 12 penalties for 91 yards Sunday night, more than doubling Washington's five penalties for just 42 yards. * Marion Barber rushed for just 39 yards, but became the sixth player in Cowboys history to surpass 4,000 rushing yards. Barber now has 4,023 to trail Emmitt Smith, Tony Dorsett, Don Perkins, Calvin Hill and Robert Newhouse, whose 4,784 yards could be passed by Barber this season. * With eight catches in his NFL debut, Dez Bryant tied Bob Hayes and Jason Witten for the Cowboys' single-game record for catches by a rookie. * Tony Romo extended his streak of at least one touchdown pass to 13 games, breaking a tie with Don Meredith and Roger Staubach for third place in club history. Romo actually holds the club record with 17 straight games that covered the 2006 and 2007 seasons. * Last year, DeMarcus Ware needed four games to post his first sack, but that wasn't the case Sunday night. Ware dropped Donovan McNabb again, giving him 6.5 sacks on the veteran quarterback and 65.5 for his career.
