"Victory Monday" Returns . . . Sort Of

While Sunday's 23-13 win brought the Cowboys back to .500 with a 4-4 record, it also gave the players the always enjoyable "Victory Monday."
But head coach Jason Garrett didn't exactly give the team the entire Monday off. The players are still required to come in and review the game tape with their position coaches at different times throughout the day. And all injured players are required to meet with the athletic trainers and doctors.

As for their team meeting and open locker room period for the media, the players are excused of that on Monday, giving them an extended break, coupled with Tuesday's mandatory day off.

That's just a small treat for the players as they officially hit the halfway point in the season.
