"Boys Of Fall" Contest Gives Fans A Chance To Be Part Of Red Kettle Kickoff Show

The Dallas Cowboys and The Salvation Army are proud to announce Kenny Chesney as the 2012 Thanksgiving halftime performer and that this year, fans have a unique opportunity to participate.

Fans are invited to submit highlight videos of their favorite youth football players, from peewees to high school seniors, in the "Boys of Fall" online video contest. Selected videos have a chance to be featured during Chesney's nationally televised performance on Thanksgiving Day. One Grand Prize winner will also win a trip for four to Dallas to see the Cowboys game versus the Washington Redskins, meet Chesney and be on the field for his halftime show.

Videos may be submitted at www.SalvationArmyUSA.org/BoysofFall until Sunday, November 11th. Finalist videos will be posted to an official voting page on Monday, November 12th where fans can vote for their favorite video until Friday, November 16th. The video with the highest number of votes will be eligible for the Grand Prize.

Chesney's Thanksgiving performance will mark the 16th year the Cowboys have helped The Salvation Army kick off the annual Red Kettle Christmas Campaign. Last year The Army raised more than $147 million between Enrique Iglesias's Thanksgiving performance at Cowboys Stadium and Christmas, providing millions of Americans in need with shelter, food, clothing, toys and other assistance.
