Bryant Made Inactive With Thigh Bruise

SAN FRANCISCO -After testing his injured leg once he arrived at Candlestick Park, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was ruled out of Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Bryant did not practice all week. He suffered a thigh bruise while returning a punt early in last Sunday's season opener against the New York Jets, and later had the leg tighten up on him, slowing him in the second half.

The second-year wide receiver was deemed questionable in Friday's injury report.

He will be replaced in the starting lineup by third-year receiver Kevin Ogletree.

The Cowboys' other inactives include cornerbacks Terence Newman (groin) and Orlando Scandrick (ankle), quarterback Stephen McGee, guard Bill Nagy (neck), guard David Arkin and defensive end Clifton Geathers.
