probable locks. The Cowboys think fourth-round guard David Arkin has starter potential. They're also looking for depth and eventual replacements in the secondary, so fifth-round cornerback Josh Thomas has a shot. Sixth-rounder Dwayne Harris could fill a need as a slot receiver/kick returner. Seventh-rounder Shaun Chapas will be get a legit chance to win the fullback job, and Bill Nagy could play his way onto the roster as a backup interior lineman, particularly if a veteran like free agent Kyle Kosier isn't brought back. 

Eight out of eight would be an encouraging sign for a team that needs an influx of youth. 

Just don't hold me to it. I'm not filling out my report card until at least 2012. Or '13.
