Cowboys Women's Association Shops To Support The Gatehouse

Cowboys wives and significant others shopped for a good cause Wednesday, joining friends at Riffraff  boutique in Dallas to benefit The Gatehouse.

The Gatehouse, located in Grapevine, Texas, is scheduled to open this spring and will provide a supportive living community for women and children breaking the cycle of poverty, prison or abuse and on the path to permanent change. The Gatehouse, which will house up to 96 families, is unique in that its members are welcome to stay up to two-and-a-half-years – significantly longer than a typical shelter residence, allowing members to completely get on their feet.

The Dallas Cowboys Women's Association – a program of the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation consisting of players', coaches' and executives' wives and significant others – has supported numerous events to raise funds for The Gatehouse. Proceeds from merchandise purchased during Wednesday's Riffraff event will go towards the Women's Association's commitment to fund two units of The Gatehouse community.
