It was a cold one when we left Dallas. The usually bustling DFW Airport, was a ghost town as the majority of flights out of the airport were cancelled.

It wasn't any better when we arrived in Chicago to below freezing temperatures. The typical 45 minute bus ride to the airport took about an hour and a half. We almost spent more time on the bus than we did on the flight.

Sean Lee returned to action tonight and left the game with a neck injury.

The temperature was around 12 degrees at kickoff and dipped to single digits with a negative wind chill by halftime.

Dewayne Harris also returned to action tonight and left the game with a hamstring injury.

Dez Bryant had a touchdown catch tonight, finishing with two catches for 12 yards. His scoring grab gave him 10 for the season – the second time in his career he reached 10 touchdowns (12 in 2012) and the 17th time a Dallas Cowboy had 10-or-more receiving scores in a season. Bryant is also the fourth Cowboy to do it multiple times (Bob Hayes – 5, Terrell Owens – 3 and Frank Clarke – 2).

Jason Witten appeared in his 168th straight game tonight. His 168 consecutive games played ties Cornell Green (1962-74) for third in team history. Dale Hellestrae (176, 1990-2000) and Bob Lilly (196, 1961-74) hold the top-two spots. With his one catch for a 10-yard touchdown, Witten has now caught at least one pass in 84 straight games and trails only Michael Irvin (117 from 1990-98) for the team record. Witten's last game without a reception was at the N.Y. Giants (11/2/08). Witten's touchdown catch tonight gave him 51 for his career to break a tie Ben Coates and tie Vernon Davis eighth in NFL tight end history. It also broke a tie with Frank Clarke for fourth in Cowboys history.

Tony Romo completed 11-of-20 passes (55.0%) for 104 yards and three touchdowns tonight. Romo now has 3,700 career attempts and tied Bobby Layne (3,700) for 58th in NFL history. Romo's three touchdown tosses tonight gave him at least one in each of the previous 26 games and extend his club record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass. Romo's three touchdown passes tonight gave him 64 career multiple-touchdown games to improve his club-high and allow him to place fifth in the NFL since becoming a starter in 2006 Romo's three touchdown tosses tonight gave him 204 for his career and moved him past Jim Everett (203) for 34th all-time. Romo's three scoring passes tonight extended his club record of three-touchdown games to 32. It also places him fifth in the league since 2006. Romo had a passer rating of 109.2 tonight. It was his 55th career game with a rating above 100.0, extending his club record. His 55 are fourth in the NFL since 2006. Romo now has six 100-rating games this season – tied for seventh in a season in team history.

DeMarco Murray rushed 18 times for 146 yards (8.1). Tonight marked Murray's sixth career 100-yard game, and his 146 yards were good for third in his career: Murray's 8.1-yard average tonight was the second-highest of his career (minimum 10 carries). His high is 10.1 (25 for 253), against St. Louis (10/23/11). Murray's 18 rushes upped his career rushing carries to 485 and moved him past Troy Hambrick (473) for 13th in club history. Murray's 146 rushing yards gave him 2,403 for his career and allowed him to pass Roger Staubach (2,264) for 11th in team history.
