Zack Martin made his first professional start against San Francisco Sunday night, becoming the first rookie in team history to start at right guard in a season opener. Tyrone Crawford also notched his first career start. Also making their NFL debuts for the Cowboys were rookies Ken Bishop, Davon Coleman, Anthony Hitchens and Tyler Patmon.

Veteran free agent additions Lavar Edwards, Rolando McClain, Henry Melton, Jeremy Mincey and C.J. Spillman all made their debuts with the team.

With one field goal and two extra points, Dan Bailey surpassed Michael Irvin (392) for the fifth-most career points in team history bringing his total to 395.

Dez Bryant caught four passes, upping his career receptions total to 297 to surpass Daryl Johnston (294) for 11th on the club's all-time receptions list.

DeMarco Murray had 118 rushing yards marking the first time the 49ers defense had allowed a 100-yard rusher in 17 games dating back to the 2012 season.
