Last night I witnessed a real-life fantasy football draft. Seriously, a fantasy draft. I was present as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders held their annual fantasy football draft at AT&T Stadium.

The DCC Fantasy Draft was started a few years ago to help the team familiarize themselves with the dynamics of football and to keep up with what happens in the NFL on a weekly basis. "The fantasy football draft gives the girls a fun and unique learning experience that expands their knowledge of the NFL," said Kelli Finglass, Director of the DCC. "It has become a team tradition and squad competition." The ladies take the competition very seriously and play for the coveted jeweled football trophy that is awarded at the DCC end of the year banquet.

Not only is the competition serious, so are the team names. Here are your 2014 DCC Fantasy Football participants…
