Hey Cowboys Fans,
I am excited to be returning for my 3rd season with the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers! I look forward to another great year dancing for the first co-ed dance team in the NFL.
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and am currently attending Texas Woman's University and pursuing a degree in kinesiology with the intention of becoming a physical therapist assistant and fitness trainer. I enjoy helping people whether it's physically or mentally, and the feeling of bringing someone happiness just fills my heart.
I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful organization and family. I am also very lucky to have special individuals who always believe in me and make me feel that anything is achievable and that there's no limit to success.
Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Cowboys Nation, the best fans in the NFL. Can't wait for this season, and excited to make some more history with DCRB!

Number of years on the team: This will be my 3rd year on the team.
Prior Dance/Entertainment Industry Experience: I've been dancing since I was about 15 years old and was on a studio team called "The Officials" for 3 years. I was also in a street crew called "Minority Brothers Crew" for about 3 years.
Nicknames: My nicknames are Danny, Dan the Man, Danny Boy, Dan Dan, D, and Hamiel.
Hometown: My hometown is Dallas, TX.
I dance because: I dance because it makes feel good. It allows me to create movement that expresses how I feel.
What I like to do most besides dance is: What I like to do most besides dancing is getting an awesome workout in at the gym.
I've always wanted to: I've always wanted to go skydiving! It's definitely on my bucket list.
Advice to Youngsters: My advice to youngsters would be to never give up and to always remain open-minded.
My biggest role model is: My biggest role models are my brother, Charlie Contreras, and my Director, Jenny Durbin Smith.
What I enjoy most about being a DCRB Dancer is: What do I enjoy most about being a DCRB Dancer? The challenge! Every day is a new challenge, allowing you to conquer something within yourself.
Favorite Cowboys player past or present: My favorite Cowboys player is Dez Bryant.
Favorite Performer: My favorite performer is Lyle Beniga; sometimes I don't even think he is human.
Favorite Music: My favorite music is hip hop and R&B.
