FRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys have started building their 10-man practice squad with eight players who passed through waivers unclaimed.

The following players have been signed to the practice squad as of late Sunday:

WR Dres Anderson
OT Jake Campos
RB Jordan Chunn
RB Darius Jackson
WR Lance Lenoir
DB Donovan Olumba
LB Kyle Queiro
DE Charles Tapper

Tapper, a fourth-round draft pick two years ago, still had practice squad eligibility after finishing his first two seasons on injured reserve.

Lenoir, who spent most of last year on the practice squad, had an outstanding preseason but was not among the six receivers kept on the current 53-man roster.

Jackson and Olumba were in competition for backup spots at running back and cornerback, respectively.

All eight players were on the Cowboys' 90-man training camp roster.
