Mailbag: Rivals You're Happy To See Go? Trading During The Draft?

SPENSER CRUZCOLUMBIA, MD
With all the coming and going of free agency, which player from a division rival are you most happy to see go? Chris Baker? Bennie Logan or somebody else?

Bryan: Bennie Logan is a good one. Hard guy to block, always been disruptive. Glad to see Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson go from Washington. Tough matchup guys to deal with.

David:The Cowboys have typically done a pretty good job of limiting DeSean Jackson, but he's still terrifying as a big-play threat and a guy that can change a game in an instant. Dallas has had to play against him twice a year ever since he got drafted, all the way back in 2008. It'll be nice to have him off the schedule for a change.

Do you guys see the Cowboys moving out of the 28th spot? Or the first round to get more picks?

Bryan: You really don't know if you're going to move or not until the draft actually starts. With the depth of this draft you might not find teams willing to move. If I were running a team - I'd just sit there and pick players.

David:This is impossible to predict a week before the draft, let alone a month. But go back and listen to Jerry Jones' comments from the NFL Combine, where he said he'd be willing to take risks to find difference-makers. If a guy the Cowboys love starts to slide toward them, I wouldn't be surprised if they traded up. Another scenario worth watching is if a quarterback – say, DeShaun Watson or DeShone Kizer – falls to them at No. 28. It'd be interesting to see if they'd use that situation to trade back for more picks from a quarterback-needy team.
