The Cowboys have not made an official word on any changes so far Monday. But there are multiple sourced reports surfacing that Wade Phillips has been fired as head coach and will be replaced by Jason Garrett.
To the players, it was news to them, although it always travels pretty fast around here. The players are in a team meeting that started at 3 p.m. and owner Jerry Jones and son, Stephen, both showed up to address the team.
As for Phillips, he was still in the building as of 2:45 p.m. He walked by and didn't stop to talk to reporters, but said he going to the training room and check on the injured players.
