Notes: O-Line Shuffling Back To Normal

Palmer's Elbow Improving
After practicing only on a very limited basis Wednesday and Thursday because of an inflamed elbow, Cincinnati starting quarterback Carson Palmer was able to fully participate in Friday's practice, though still is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

What a Sight To See
Oh what a sight, 40-year-old quarterback Brad Johnson out at practice on Friday wearing an old Terrell Owens No. 80 jersey from Tennessee-Chattanooga tucked into a pair of those patented white tights Owens likes to wear for practice.

Safety Valve
The Cowboys have all but ruled Pat Watkins out of Sunday's game, and with their top two strong safeties likely out with injuries, veteran special teamer Keith Davis and Courtney Brown will take over the position.

New Bengals Gaining Stripes
There is a good chance the Bengals will not waste any time getting two of their newest players into the game on Sunday, running back Cedric Benson and wide receiver Chris Henry.

Short Shots
Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware has recorded a sack in each of the past seven games, the team's longest streak since sacks became an official NFL statistic in 1982. Harvey Martin owns the unofficial team record of 11 (1976-77) and the second longest streak of nine (1977) back when sacks were merely awarded by the teams . . . With his next 300-yard passing performance, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will grab the franchise career lead at 14, having tied Troy Aikman last Sunday for the lead at 13 . . . Even though this is the 3-1 Cowboys against the 0-4 Bengals, Phil Simms was walking around The Ranch on Friday, meaning CBS is throwing out their top crew of Jim Nantz and Simms for the broadcast.
