FRISCO, Texas – Linebacker Sean Lee is taking part in the early portion of practice for the first time since injuring his hamstring Nov. 5 against the Tennessee Titans.

Wide receiver Tavon Austin is also back to practice Wednesday after missing the last seven games with a groin injury. Head coach Jason Garrett said he anticipating Lee and Austin practicing "a little bit" as they work their way back.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott was not practicing during the open portion. Elliott said he suffered a stinger in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's win over Philadelphia, though he did return to the game and finish with a career-high 40 touches on offense.

The Cowboys still have two more days of practice this week in preparation for Sunday's road trip against the Indianapolis Colts.

Garrett said he didn't expect guard Zack Martin to practice Wednesday. Martin left the Eagles game with an aggravated left knee sprain, though Garrett called his status day-to-day earlier in the week.

Others not practicing during the open portion included tight end Geoff Swaim (wrist) and defensive lineman David Irving (ankle).

The Cowboys made one practice squad move: They signed guard Oni Omoile to replace safety Tyree Robinson, who signed with the 49ers.
