FRISCO, Texas – Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett says starting left tackle Tyron Smith (neck) will likely be a game-time decision with the stinger issue that sidelined him Thanksgiving Day against Washington.

"Don't anticipate him doing much today," Garrett said before the Cowboys' final practice of the week leading up to Thursday's home game against New Orleans. "If he does, he'll work on the side. But we'll take him all the way to game time and give him a chance to play and see if he's able to."

Smith was active against Washington last Thursday but did not play after the stinger flared up in warmups. Cameron Fleming started at left tackle and Connor Williams filled in briefly when Fleming lost his shoe.

Players not practicing during the brief open portion of Tuesday's practice: Smith, wide receiver Tavon Austin (groin), tight end Geoff Swaim (wrist), defensive lineman David Irving (ankle) and linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring).
