Cartwright Stuffed - With a third-and-two at the Cowboys' 30, the Redskins tried Rock Cartwright up the middle but he was jammed for a two-yard loss by a host of defenders. Alan Ball and Victor Butler were credited with the tackle, which forced the Redskins into a 50-yard attempt by Suisham. Had the play netted just a no gain, the Redskins might have attempted to go for it. Instead, the long field goal was tried and went wide right, giving the Cowboys yet another chance.
