IRVING, Texas – Quarterback Tony Romo felt he could "sling the ball" last Sunday against Seattle, a clear indication that his troubles with a fractured rib since September seem behind him.
"I believe it's fully healed," Romo said Thursday. "We haven't had an X-ray here in awhile, but it was healing properly. We basically came to the conclusion it's good."
For the first time since Week 3 against Washington, Romo did not take a pre-game pain-killing injection last Sunday. He did wear a protective vest again as a precaution and might continue to do so.
Romo is fighting cold symptoms this week, but clearly it won't affect his availability against Buffalo. Not like it's a broken rib or anything.
