Hunt can make the argument as the most athletic day three defender in the draft with his 4.67 40-yard dash that pairs with a high motor off the edge that brings a violence to his pass rush. He still has weight he can add to his wide frame to become a more dangerous rusher. With limited experience playing on the defensive front, Hunt may find some struggles in identifying blocking schemes and working around them at the NFL level. While he possesses the knowledge and drive to correct those issues, it could take him time to develop into a complete package.

OVERVIEW: Having started his career at Cornell University as a safety, Hunt transferred to Houston Christian where he added over 35 pounds to his frame to become a violent edge rusher with the athleticism of a defensive back. Those traits showed up at the combine where he wowed scouts with his explosiveness and speed. Hunt dominated the FCS level with the Huskies by accounting for 133 total tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks over two seasons. His length and intangibles have his ceiling higher than most day three picks.
