2024 NFL Draft Wide Receivers Prospects

While a dire need exists at some of the other positions on the roster, the Cowboys can at least take a breath when it comes to wide receiver. That’s because despite their decision to release Michael Gallup, they still have a definitive WR1 in CeeDee Lamb – presumably for a long time to come – while Brandin Cooks also returns for 2024 to both produce and to continue mentoring young talent such as Jalen Tolbert and Jalen Brooks. And then there’s KaVontae Turpin, someone who didn’t get much, if any, burn on the offense until his second year. When he did, though, Turpin proved he is as dynamic offensively as he is when he returns kicks. There’s a stable of young talent in the wide receiver room in Dallas, but it’s also true that, other than Lamb and Cooks, it’s mostly unproven. And that means no one would bat an eye if the Cowboys opted to still address the position in this year’s draft.
