Arguably one of the most athletic linebackers at the combine (4.51 time in the 40-yard dash, 37.5” vertical jump, 10”7’ broad jump), Wallace could bring an athletic presence to Dallas’ second level that could help in run support as early as 2024. Wallace will have to learn patience and better play recognition at the next level, as he typically bites on play-action and misdirection in the backfield. That leaves him out of the play as it develops into the second level.

OVERVIEW: Wallace enters the NFL Draft as a departing junior after three seasons with the Wildcats saw him produce 166 tackles, including 18 for loss and 10 sacks. A native of Jesup, Georgia, with football in his bloodline (uncle played for Oklahoma from 2009-11), Wallace brought leadership to the Kentucky defense during his time in Lexington, which showed up in his status as captain as a junior in 2023. His four games with double-digit tackles helped Kentucky make an appearance in the Gator Bowl in 2023.
