PRO CON
Penix is a leader of men. He’s a proven field general with an incredible deep ball and has the wherewithal to make the right throw. Works through his progressions with ease and is able to squeeze throws into tight windows. Has the ability to remain mobile without it being his identity. Throwing motion, left-handed and 24-years-old by the time he plays his first game will all go against his stock. But the most concerning aspect of Penix’s profile is the extensive injury history. Including multiple ACL tears that could scare some teams.

OVERVIEW: Some thought Penix should have won the Heisman Trophy last season, and if not for the incredible season from Jayden Daniels he probably would have. Instead, Penix led the Huskies to the College Football Playoff and the National Championship Game. His leadership and ability to make big plays in big moments were a key piece to the best season in recent memory for Washington. There are some concerns about his future durability and transition to the NFL, but one thing is true, Penix has shown he's a gamer and a winner.

COMPARISON: C.J. Stroud
