PRO CON
One of the best route runners in the draft class. Knows how to use the little things in his favor to create separation with his footwork and instincts. Has the speed to create as well, especially when hitting an extra gear in traffic to get out of the weeds. Has a chance to improve in his long speed and initial quickness off the line of scrimmage. He’s good at both elements, but definitely not elite in either. Appeared to be frustrated when things didn’t go his way on certain reps. Most notably the physical ones.

OVERVIEW: It has been a bit since Texas had elite-level receiver prospects like they did this season with Mitchell and Xavier Worthy. Mitchell began his career at Georgia where he saw some early production with the Bulldogs before returning to his home state and joining the Longhorns. His one season in Austin saw a jump in production as he snagged 55 passes for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns over 14 games. With his versatility allowing Texas to use him in the slot and on the edge, he found a way to succeed no matter the role.
