ARLINGTON, Texas --The Cowboys have called a 2 p.m. (CT) press conference at Cowboys Stadium to announce an expansion of the Ring of Honor.
No name (or names) have been announced yet. One report in early August stated that wide receiver great Drew Pearson would get the long-awaited nod.
Last week, team owner Jerry Jones hinted that guard Larry Allen would be inducted, saying the next Ring of Honor entry is "probably a first-rounder for the Hall of Fame." Offensive line coach Hudson Houck has invited Allen to advise first-round tackle Tyron Smith the past two days.
