SAN DIEGO – As expected, Miles Austin is inactive for the Cowboys' Week 4 tilt against the Chargers.

Austin is the only starter among the list of seven inactives, which includes cornerback Chris Greenwood, guard David Arkin, center Phil Costa, offensive tackle Darrion Weems, tight end Andre Smith and defensive end Caesar Rayford.

Rookie receiver Terrance Williams will get the starting nod in place of Austin. Williams has five catches for 60 yards this season.

This marks the first time this season that all four Cowboys running backs are active. Joseph Randle is active for the second time this season after spending the past two weeks on the inactive list. Randle was active for the season opener against New York but did not participate.  [embedded_ad]

Newly-acquired defensive tackle Drake Nevis is also active after just one week with the team. The Cowboys' usual trend is to keep new players inactive for their first game, as is the case with cornerback Chris Underwood, but Nevis will be in uniform against the Chargers.

Defensive tackle David Carter is also active after sitting out last week's game against St. Louis – his first game with the team.
